Part Time Driver for Patient in the Maryland, Rockville and DMV areas
EKpatientRide is seeking Part Time Drivers to join our team! This position is responsible for providing transportation for senior citizens in the community to and from pre scheduled destinations, like doctor appointments, errands, outpatient procedures etc. When covering routes, this individual will drive their own vehicle to and from customer stops along an assigned route. This allows you to choose the times that work best for your schedule!
You might qualify if you meet the following criteria:
*Have a 4 door sedan, minivan or SUV that is at least 10 years old with proof of vehicle maintenance.
*Have a clean driving record
*Pass a background check
*Proof of car insurance
This position is ideal for individuals who are retired.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Providing transportation for clients

Build a rapport with customers.

Communicating with the office frequently.
WHAT YOU’LL REQUIRE:
-
5 years or more of professional customer service experience.
-
15 years of driving experience.
-
Experience with senior citizens
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Self motivation and drive.
-
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Able to use GPS/cell phone/texting/emails.

In addition to these requirements, you will be required to pass a background check, have a clean driving record and provide proof of insurance.
Compensation:
$15 minimum pay per transfer (most trips are two transfers)
$15- $25 per hour for waiting on site with clients (during appointments) MUST BE APPROVED
Average trip pays around $50, most drivers get 2 trips a week
Schedule:
* scheduled routes are normally between 6am-6pm
*Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday
